Service Description
1:1 sessions are available for Scentwork, Rally, Hoopers, Agility, and Gundog‑Not‑Gundog. Each session is up to 40 minutes and tailored to you and your dog. Hoopers 1:1s are priced higher in winter due to indoor arena hire; in summer they return to the standard rate. Please contact me before booking to confirm availability. Once your booking is approved, you’ll receive an email with payment details. If you don’t see a suitable time, additional slots can be arranged.
Cancellation Policy
1. Refunds for Group Classes • Once a course has started, no refunds will be issued. • If you need to cancel your place, you must contact us at least 48 hours before the course start date to receive a full refund. • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the course start date will only be refunded if we are able to resell your space. • Missed sessions cannot be refunded or transferred, as your space is reserved for the full duration of the course. • If we (4 Active Paws) need to cancel a session, we will add an additional session to the end of the course where possible, or provide a refund for the cancelled session. 2. Refunds for 1‑to‑1 Sessions • Cancellations made with at least 48 hours’ notice will receive a full refund. • Cancellations made within 48 hours of your booked session will receive a 50% refund, unless we are able to resell your time slot, in which case we will refund the full amount. • If we need to cancel your 1‑to‑1 session, you will be offered an alternative time or a full refund. 3. Your Responsibilities • Please ensure you arrive on time for your class or session. • Dogs must be kept under control at all times and must not pose a risk to other dogs or people. • If your dog is unwell, please contact us before attending. 4. Our Responsibilities • All training is delivered using force‑free, welfare‑centred methods. • We will always act in the best interests of safety and wellbeing for all dogs and handlers. • We reserve the right to remove a dog from a class if their behaviour poses a risk, and will discuss alternative options with you. 5. Fairness and UK Consumer Law These terms are designed to be fair, transparent, and compliant with UK consumer protection law, including guidance from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA). Refunds and cancellation charges reflect the actual losses incurred by holding a space for you and the reasonable steps we take to resell cancelled places.
